Points to Note When Selecting Pressure Gauges
Select different types of pressure gauges according to various working media.
The accuracy grade of pressure gauges for low-pressure vessels shall not be lower than Grade 2.5, and that for medium-pressure vessels shall not be lower than Grade 1.5.
The maximum scale value of the pressure gauge dial shall be 1.5 to 3 times the maximum working pressure; a multiplier of 2 times is preferred. The dial diameter shall not be less than 100 mm.
Mark a red warning line on the dial corresponding to the maximum allowable pressure of the vessel. Do not mark it on the gauge glass, to avoid misjudgment caused by glass rotation.
